Uniting the Church on the Korean Peninsula
ASIA | PROJECT UPDATE

The Great Harvest 2027 is an initiative helping to unite the global church around God's reconciling work on the Korean Peninsula. With access to North Korea currently closed to South Koreans and Americans, this project has focused on strengthening collaboration, preparing future leaders, and supporting North Korean refugee churches in South Korea. A key goal has been to connect organizations and churches involved in ministry related to North Korea with those sensing a call to engage.

This year, the Korean Peninsula Network Gathering brought together representatives from more than 30 organizations and local churches, fostering greater alignment and shared vision. In addition, Empower Korea 2025 mobilized 375 participants, including more than 200 delegates from 20 nations and 175 South Korean leaders. Centered on the theme "Jesus: Our Reconciliation and Peace," the conference addressed root causes of division through teachings on forgiveness, healing, and unity. A powerful moment came on the final evening when the older generation blessed the younger, symbolizing the passing of the baton and renewed hope.

Thank you for being part of this important work. Your partnership makes these connections and moments of reconciliation possible.
