Uniting the Church on the Korean Peninsula
ASIA | PROJECT GOAL: $54,500
Since 1995, more than 70 Christian organizations have sought to bear witness to God’s love among North Koreans. Yet their efforts have often been carried out in isolation, limiting their collective impact. With more than 30,000 North Korean refugees now living in South Korea, the global Church has a unique opportunity to unite through the Great Harvest 2027 initiative. This initiative of Reah International invites churches to train and send young workers to support North Korean refugee churches in South Korea and eventually to partner in North Korea when the doors open.

North Korean refugees in South Korea face significant challenges, including stigma and trauma. Yet they also present an incredible opportunity to pursue healing and reconciliation. Great Harvest 2027 aims to build unity within the Church by equipping young professionals, or “fellows,” to partner with refugee churches, address stigma, and lay the groundwork for future engagement in North Korea.

The Fellows Program will train young adults to serve in more than 50 refugee churches in South Korea. Fellows will learn about the unique challenges refugees face while helping to foster unity among different communities. The program also includes preparation for potential future service inside North Korea as the country opens.

Your support will help train fellows, strengthen refugee churches, and mobilize young adults for God’s global mission. This includes the development of a video curriculum designed to provide training and spiritual formation.

Will you join us in answering Christ’s call for unity and reconciliation through Great Harvest 2027?
