LOVE MERCY DO JUSTICE
Love Mercy Do Justice works primarily through regional conferences and local Covenant churches and their partners on the ground to provide a timely response when a domestic disaster strikes.
The Domestic Disaster Relief initiative is currently responding to recent climate disaster events in Maui, Florida, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Jackson, Mississippi. We lament the overwhelm of climate crisis events taking place worldwide.
Times of crisis expose the vulnerability of those on the margins and the reality of their need. When the Good Samaritan passed by the victim who had been beaten on the road to Jericho, he was moved with compassion because of the crisis he witnessed before his eyes. Jesus encouraged his listeners to be like this man; to see, serve and come alongside their neighbors who are broken, especially in times of crisis.
The Covenant joins together to love mercy, and walk humbly with our God, by praying and giving generously to provide for the peoples of Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Mississippi in their moment of crisis.
