Transformation through Training in Mozambique
AFRICA | PROJECT UPDATE
Thank you for joining the Covenant Church in Mozambique, where pastors and church leaders have made remarkable strides in bearing witness to the gospel in communities with little access to formal education. Many of these leaders cannot read or write, so training has relied on proven memorization methods for learning to teach God's Word effectively.
Through FOWM 2025, pastors studied the story of God's creation, redemption, and re-creation— centered on the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus. They practiced teaching these truths to one another, and they were encouraged to learn together, building confidence and skills to guide their congregations.
Local leaders are now prepared to take the training into remote areas, sharing lessons, distributing audio Bibles, and equipping churches, men, women, and children. Through this work and your generosity, remote communities are hearing about the transformational love of Jesus, multiplying the impact of this ministry across Mozambique.
