Transformation through Training in Mozambique

The Covenant Church in Mozambique is experiencing incredible growth, with more than 550 churches bearing witness to the good news of Jesus Christ across the country. To sustain this growth, our partners have expressed an urgent need for training pastors and leaders in contextualized theological education to guide their communities with wisdom and to bear witness to the love of Christ.
Many pastors, especially in remote areas, lack access to formal training in Bible studies, theology, and leadership. While their passion for Christ is undeniable, they need contextualized theological tools to serve their congregations effectively and confidently.
Through Friends of World Mission 2025, we have an incredible opportunity to partner with the indigenous churches in Mozambique as they equip leaders with theological knowledge, practical skills, and critical resources to be change-makers in their communities. Your gift will help strengthen and support pastors and leaders for ministry, broaden the reach of the church in areas that have been inaccessible through church planting training, and invest in the next generation by teaching children God’s Word through Sunday school programs, helping them grow in faith.
