An Anti-Sex Trafficking Initiative

We are so grateful for your partnership and generous support of the FREE Initiative, an anti-sex trafficking initiative of the Evangelical Covenant Church. In 2024, lives around the world were directly impacted through the work of our nine local and global partners.

In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus powerfully declared his ministry: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” As his followers, we are entrusted to continue that ministry by specifically addressing the injustices that choke the humans to whom God has breathed life. Sex trafficking robs our neighbors of the dignity, freedom, and life God has given them, and God invites us to join in working toward their deliverance and restoration.

We celebrate all the ways in which we participate in God’s kingdom coming to earth through the work of our FREE partners. In 2025, our goal is to raise $150,000 to fund projects our local and global partners identify. We invite you to prayerfully consider making a gift to the FREE initiative. Your gift will pave the way for future generations to experience flourishing and God’s shalom in their communities.
