In DR Congo, severe malnutrition continues to threaten the lives of young children. Through Malnutrition Centers in Karawa and Loko, your gift equips Congolese health care workers to identify and treat children suffering from acute malnutrition, educate families about local nutritious foods, and provide medical supplies and special formulas so children can recover and thrive.

$150 helps 10 children receive treatment.

In 2024, nearly 20,000 children received treatment, including more than 3,000 facing severe acute malnutrition, a life-threatening condition. Mortality rates at the Karawa stabilization center have dropped from 18 percent to 7 percent over the last two years.
