ADVANCED LEARNING FUND
My passion is to help the church become a place of hope and healing rather than shame and burden for those struggling with emotional issues that stem from childhood pain and trauma. I am pursuing an online master's program in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy.
Over the past 20 years as a missionary, much of my work revolved around counseling and family strengthening. I helped to develop local lay counselors and facilitated programs for teens and married couples. I recruited and funded training for peer support counselors for a local church in East Asia. With this additional training, I hope to deepen my impact and better serve those in need.
