Ministry Overview: It’s been almost four years since we arrived in Leon, Mexico. During all this time we have been collaborating with Pastor Sandra Cazares and FAST ministry, an experience that has been a real blessing. With a holistic emphasis, we have provided discipleship, mentorship, spiritual direction, pastoral care, leadership training, and capacity-building opportunities to our team members, many of whom are part of the community we serve. By extension, we reach out to our neighborhood through several programs targeting children, youth, women, and men, within and outside the church. The most important aspect of our ministry is to offer a space for sharing our life experiences, which has resulted in creating a real sense of community for those who are members of the team and those from the neighborhood. We have assisted members of these groups in recognizing how much God loves them and is continuing to act in their lives and their community. Through reflection, the study of the Scripture, and analysis of the social problems that affect them, we have identified areas of strength as well as areas the Lord wants to transform and restore. At the national level, we continue responding to invitations to share and contribute to the strengthening of the Covenant church in Mexico. We honor God in everything we do and are grateful for his work in, within, and through us all. It is our goal to form genuine and committed disciples of our Lord and to fully equip and empower them to become agents of restoration and transformation within the church and in the community where they live.
