Ministry Overview: We serve in Lyon, the third largest metropolitan area in France, which draws many refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers. In our outreach to migrant populations, we meet many who are from Muslim backgrounds. We serve alongside our local French church’s refugee committee which assists Christian refugee families. We engage with other organizations to develop relationships with migrants.

Adrienne works with Hope Alliance, a local French Christian organization that serves sexually exploited, trafficked persons. She participates in street outreaches at night and is available to meet with people during the day to assist with administrative tasks, translation, and spiritual encouragement. She contributes to the development of Hope Alliance’s network with local agencies and European Christian organizations to strengthen their response to human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Ken volunteers as a tutor at a welcome center for unaccompanied minors. He partners with several churches that provide spiritual and practical care to new Iranian Christians. We participate in a network of European church partners that encourages engagement with refugees and asylum seekers in their respective countries. We have a commitment to serve one month per year with a Christian NGO that works in refugee camps on the islands of Samos and Lesbos in Greece.
