The Good Neighor Fund
The Good Neighbor Fund
LOVE MERCY DO JUSTICE
When an expert in the law asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus responded with the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25–37). When asked who truly acted as a neighbor, the answer was clear: “The one who had mercy.” Jesus replied, “Go and do likewise.”
The Good Neighbor Fund, powered by the Jim Sundholm Compassion Fund, helps Covenant churches live into that call—putting faith into action through compassion, mercy, and biblical justice.
Across the U.S. and Canada, Covenant churches are present in communities facing urgent and growing needs. In 2025, Love Mercy Do Justice (LMDJ) empowered churches to respond to natural disasters, support immigrant and refugee families, and pursue reconciliation in communities divided by hostility. The Good Neighbor Fund invites you to join in this restorative work—bearing witness to God’s kingdom through concrete acts of mercy that lead toward healing and flourishing.
