I'm studying for a Doctor of Global Leadership in an online cohort called Redeeming Power and Liberating Equity for Gender/Ethnic Relations at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA. I'm already able to apply it to our context of pre-evangelization and spreading the kingdom of God through friendship and cross-cultural activities here in Lyon, France. We do this through language practice (French, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese) and cultural exchanges (Japanese), as well as seminars on Personal Development, Third-Culture Kids/Adults, tours of the city on Christian History in Europe, sports and music ministry, and the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). My dissertation will explore the influence of multiculturalism vs monoculturalism/assimilation on the flourishing of our members and their capacity to live out the values of the kingdom of God.
