The Continuing Pastoral Education Initiative (CPEI) is a decentralized education platform designed to provide ongoing professional development for pastors in the Congo Covenant Church (CEUM). Highly skilled Congolese trainers lead the initiative, developing and sharing practical theological materials specifically tailored to the needs of CEUM pastors. To ensure easy access for as many pastors as possible, six four-day training seminars are held in locations strategically spread throughout an area equivalent in size to Ohio, meaning most pastors can reach a training center within two days. The initiative has proven incredibly successful, with over 5,500 pastors having participated in the program to date.
