This year, through Covenant World Relief & Development and our global partners, we have an opportunity to respond to the hunger crisis in our world. The number of people facing acute food insecurity has been dramatically increasing since 2019. Today, over 828 million people in our world go to bed hungry every night.
Hunger is more complicated than not being able to afford groceries. Food insecurity and hunger are complex issues that require complex, multi-faceted solutions. Covenant World Relief & Development partners with organizations around the world by providing project grants. Food insecurity may be the primary or secondary focus of the grant along with economic development, health, emergency response, justice, refugee aid, vulnerable children, water, animal husbandry, agriculture, women’s development, and more. A complex problem requires a complex solution and our partners in transformation around the world understand this.
