Healthy Churches and Pastors

Coming out of the uncertainty of the last few years, churches are seeking support to learn how to rediscover their purpose and find new ways to impact their communities for Christ. Much has changed in terms of how regular attendance and commitment are defined, people’s expectations of church, and how health is measured and encouraged. pHCheck (Periodic Health Checkup) is the new church health measurement tool that helps a congregation identify strengths and areas for growth. Four new workshops and transitional tools have been developed to meet the needs of the post-Covid church. The new workshops include enduring tools that have been refreshed by recontextualization and updating concepts and language, as well as new ways of thinking about health and realizing the local church’s mission. These practical tools bring ideas, processes for healthy change, and hope for the future in the post-pandemic ministry landscape.
